I was feeling pretty bad, I was considerably overweight and feeling really quite down about it. I was a typical emotional eater and whenever I felt down I’d reach for the stodgy sugary foods to feel better. But would then feel bad because I was eating rubbish and putting on weight. I had little energy and was very unfit, all in all I was in a mess.
I had done bootcamp with Petra before but not done a great deal of exercise since. I struggled the first time round so was a little hesitant to return. I’m delighted I did! The programme is totally different, much more engaging and motivating and everyone seems enjoys the comradary along the way
The best bit so far is not just seeing but FEELING a difference. Within 4 days of starting I was feeling less bloated, more energetic, less lethargic and on top of that was loosing the lbs!
Do it. Don’t be shy, we’ve all been that nervous newbie who doesn’t know if they’ll fit in or if it’s right for them. What’s the worst that will really happen?
For me it was seeing that actually my situation is reversible. I still have a long way to go but I will do it. Managing to lose 7lbs in three weeks really blew my mind. The way I think and feel about food has changed already and I couldn’t be much happier about that!
